Oldham Children & Youth Alliance

About the Alliance

The Alliance is a network that brings together organisations working with children and young people across the Borough of Oldham.  The Alliance is all about enhancing partnership work between the statutory and voluntary sectors by providing opportunities for organisations to come together in a variety of ways to share information about their provision, training and funding opportunities.

The Alliance seeks to enhance provision, opportunities and outcomes for children and young people by supporting strategic planning and co-ordination, enabling and supporting members to increase joint working and share resources and learning.  The work of the Alliance is delivered through Alliance Area Groups that come together to work on community issues, increase children and young people’s access to services and participation in community events, and share information on access to resources, funding and learning through partnership working.
